Nour Sabbagh & Rhea Karam founded 19 Editions in 2026, after years of collaboration and a shared passion for books, paper, walls, and making in response to a deep emotional attachment to their native land and cultural roots.
They are drawn to personal archives and to artists’ narratives that maintain a direct relationship with their homeland — whether anchored in place or shaped by diaspora. Their interest lies in the complexities that unfold in between.
In a world increasingly marked by chaos, misinformation, and a lack of accountability, they find solace in immersing themselves in these stories — and in the warmth and truth they hold.
19 Editions functions both as an archive and an independant publishing house, committed to preserving and sharing these narratives in print form.
